We are pleased to announce that Adampol S.A. is among the seventeen beneficiaries selected in the competition organized by the Center for EU Transport Projects (CUPT) as part of the National Reconstruction and Resilience Plan (KPO). Our company received funding in the amount of PLN 6,902,769.30 for the implementation of the project entitled “Development of the intermodal terminal in Małaszewicze – Stage 1” (no. KPOD.09.09-IW.02-0041/24).

Scope of work

The investment includes, among others:

• reconstruction of the track system on the railway siding,

• increasing the area of the hardened yard for storing and reloading containers.

The aim of the works being carried out is to significantly increase the operational efficiency of the terminal and strengthen its role as a strategic node on the map of the European TEN-T transport network. The terminal in Małaszewicze serves an intermodal function and is an important transit point on the New Silk Road route, connecting Asia with the markets of the European Union.

We are very pleased with the support granted under the KPO. The investment in the expansion of the intermodal terminal in Małaszewicze will allow us not only to significantly increase our operational capabilities, but will also contribute to the development of the entire region. Rail transport is the most ecological form of large-scale cargo transport – and the development of rail infrastructure is in line with our aspirations for sustainable development – comments Michał Knopik, President of the Management Board of Adampol S.A.

The investment is planned to be completed by the end of July 2025. Thanks to the support from the KPO and the works carried out, Adampol S.A. will significantly increase its transhipment capacity, improve its operational efficiency and gain the ability to simultaneously service a larger number of wagons. The company is thus strengthening its position as a trusted partner in the international supply chain, offering customers modern and environmentally friendly logistics solutions.

All activities are carried out with respect for the natural environment and in accordance with the assumptions of the EU climate policy. Railway – as the least emission means of transport – is the foundation of future, low-emission logistics, in which Adampol S.A. actively participates.
