This week, another delivery of military equipment from South Korea arrived at the Port of Gdańsk. As part of this operation, 41 combat vehicles were transported, including:
• 20 K2 Black Panther tanks manufactured by Hyundai Rotem
• 21 K9 Thunder self-propelled howitzers manufactured by Hanwha Aerospace
An interesting detail is that this time the transport was carried out using a ro-ro vessel, which made it possible to handle the cargo without dismantling the vehicles. This solution minimizes the risk of damage and streamlines the process both on the maritime and land side.
Hyundai Glovis was responsible for transporting the equipment from South Korea to Poland. However, Adampol S.A. also played a very important role in this process. We were responsible for the final stage of the operation on the Polish side, coordinating activities from unloading at the port to land transport to the final locations.
Transporting military equipment requires precise preparation, appropriate procedures, and control at every stage. That is why we always operate in an end-to-end model, regardless of the type of cargo. We ensure one coherent process, safety, and full continuity of operations from loading to the final delivery point. This solution provides clear benefits for the recipient: shorter lead times, smooth coordination, and one responsible partner at every stage.
In this case, a key factor contributing to the success of the operation was also the trust placed by the Polish Armed Forces and the Armament Agency in the logistics operations carried out by Hyundai Glovis and Adampol S.A.
