Today we’re at the Małaszewicze Logistics Center. There’s always something exciting happening there.
We recently completed a pilot shipment of electric cars from China to Europe. Małaszewicze was a key point in this process. The cars arrived from Asia by train, loaded in containers. Interestingly, among them was a Xiaomi car – one of the first of its kind in Poland.
The work performed in Małaszewicze consisted of:
• receiving containers from the rail terminal,
• transporting them by truck to the car terminal,
• unloading and stripping the containers,
• preparing the cars for their onward journey, this time on car transporters.
The pilot is a crucial test of our supply chain. Typically, such shipments involve several cars to verify that each element is functioning properly.
In this case, the entire process went perfectly. We are fully prepared and have the necessary infrastructure in place to transport cars in containers.
