ADAMPOL S.A., in cooperation with its partners in Asia, carried out the first successful operation of delivering cars in containers by sea. The cargo arrived from South Korea to the Baltic Hub terminal at the Port of Gdansk, and from there it was transported to the Duty Free Zone and dismantled. After unloading, the cars continued their journey on board of ADAMPOL S.A. self-transporters. Exeptional employees of the Gdańsk Branch and Euro China Train were responsible for the implementation of the task.
The action was carried out because the existing methods of transporting cars by sea are not sufficient and new solutions are constantly being sought. Sea transport of cars in containers is currently one of the leading topics in the logistics industry.
