When two ro-ro vessels meet at a single berth, logistics enters a higher level — this is exactly what the operation carried out at the Gdańsk Branch in the Free Customs Zone looked like.
This was a situation that required not only operational experience, but above all flexibility, precision, and full control over the process in real time. Traffic took place simultaneously in both directions, space was limited, and time pressure was even greater.
Operation details:
• 2 ro-ro vessels handled in parallel
• 851 vehicles loaded
• 366 vehicles unloaded
• 7 hours of continuous operation
• 50 people involved in the execution
The operation was carried out in accordance with the assumptions, while maintaining full continuity of processes and control over every stage.
This is a model example of effective management of a complex logistics operation in a demanding port environment.
This is what FVL looks like at the highest level.
