The Naberezhnye Chelny compound in Russia started its activity in December 2015. There are currently 800 Ford cars (Fiesta, Ecosport) at the yard, that are delivered there directly from the Ford Sollers production plant located 250 metres away. Ford vehicles (KUGA, EXPLORER, TRANSIT) produced at the Elabuga production plant (50 km from Naberezhnye Chelny) are also stored at the compound. Its central location on the Russian map ( 1100 km east of Moscow and 500 km from Ural) make it a superb distribution point for Ford vehicles on the Russian and Asian markets. The organization of the Naberezhnye Chelny compound guarantees maximum security for the cars that are stored there. It is divided into three sectors (A, B, and C) and then into rows and positions. The parameters of each space (3 meters wide and 5-6 meters length) ensure that car doors can be fully opened, which is in line with Ford’s requirements.Technical Parameters:– Area: 5.7 hectares– Capacity: 1500 car units– 20 loading lines– 20 spaces for auto-transporters– 24 h monitoring, security, professional lighting and fencing– rail connection (possibility to transship vehicles from /to train)
